Dire, Hearty, Elder Wolf in Isle of the Nameless
Fairly simple concept.
Choose a spot in Isle of the Nameless.
Place there a Dire, Hearty, and Elder Wolf, along with a "Master of Beasts" NPC.
EDIT: Ideally, these are charmable wolves, if only for PvP players.
The Master of Beasts explains the difference between the different pets and will take a pet away from you if you want to get a different one.
If it is particularly important, you could make the wolves not spawn if there is a non-PvP only character in the part you bring into Isle of the Nameless, to preserve the difficulty in getting a certain kind of pet for PvE players.

Yes, would be nice to have some proper ingame information about the different evolutions and what they do.

One of those ideas that come along once in a while that make you wonder why it wasn't thought of much earlier.

also why not add a few other creatures for the PvPers to charm. Moas, Pigs etc. Nothing special like black moa, phoenix or spiders of course.

My approach on the issue was this one:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10175943
But anything wouold be better than keeping things that PvE character can do but PvP characters can't.
They should also add a pet dealing piercing damage, so people can choose that too.
